I’m A Libertarian Who’s Voting for Romney. Here’s Why.

September 24, 2012

(Photo credit: Wikipedia) Inevitably, as the election draws nearer and some of the less-than-libertarian positions of both Mitt Romney and the GOP platform gain attention and, deservedly, criticism many libertarians have already begun trotting out the “he’s just the lessor of two evils” argument. They would argue that you should only vote for the purest libertarian candidate without regard […]

Obama: “If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

July 15, 2012

Coming Again to Save the ****** ****** Day! (Photo credit: AN HONORABLE GERMAN) Seriously? Chalk this up to another explanation for why the economy continues to struggle under a government with this philosophy. The ridiculous quote came from a larger point the President was trying to make during what was essentially a campaign speech in Roanoke, Virginia. […]

Quinnipiac Poll: Obama Suffering from Kinetic Voter Disapproval

March 30, 2011

Image source Ok, may they didn’t use that wording to describe Obama’s increasingly abysmal poll numbers, but the results were not good for the President: “American voters disapprove 48 – 42 percent of the job President Barack Obama is doing and say 50 – 41 percent he does not deserve to be re-elected in 2012, […]

MM: Don’t Be So Quick to Give to the Chamber of Commerce

October 16, 2010

Michelle Malkin points out that just because Obama is going to war with the Chamber does not necessarily mean we should think of them as a small government group. The Chamber supported TARP, the auto bailout, and the stimulus. The Chamber is supporting a pro-Obamacare, pro-TARP, pro-card check, pro-stimulus, pro-amnesty Democrat in Arizona over his […]

431,000 Jobs Created in May; 411,000 Were Census Workers

June 7, 2010

President Obama says that the new report indicating 431,000 jobs were created in May “…is a sign our economy is getting stronger by the day.” Of course, 411,000 of those jobs were census workers that will soon be out of work.

Obama Set to Sign Abortion Order Behind Closed Doors

March 24, 2010

The Obama Administration, which was supposed to be the pinnacle of transparency in government, is so ashamed of its own Stupak abortion compromise that the President will sign the order in private. I guess it’s not “a big f**king deal.”

Have We Turned Our Backs on Israel?

March 18, 2010

More disturbing news today regarding the Obama Administration’s change in policy towards Israel. Prior to today, one could argue that we were simply pressuring Israel as we might with any other friendly country from whom we want treaty concessions. However, these new reports seem to indicate that our foreign policy is becoming anti-Israel altogether. First, […]

Obama’s Foreign Policy Is So Weak He Prohibits Flying the Flag

March 16, 2010

According to a story posted on USA Today’s website, the American installation operating in Haiti has been ordered by the administration not to fly the American flag. France’s tricolor, Britain’s Union Jack and even Croatia’s coat of arms flap in the breeze. But the country whose contributions dwarf the rest of the world’s — the […]

Obama Says Collecting DNA After Arrest is “the right thing to do”

March 15, 2010

I often say that there are those to my left who want a nanny state and those to my right who want a police state, while I just want to be free. So one "bright side" to shifting from Bush and the Patriot Act's question law enforcement provisions was, presumably, that President Obama would at least be too busy pushing for a nanny state to worry about expanding the power of law enforcement. Unfortunately, even that silver lining appears to be absent.

Chris Matthews: To Obama West Point is “The Enemy Camp”

December 2, 2009

Apparently MSNBC gas-bag, Chris Matthews, believes it was a mistake for President Obama to address West Point - his own troops - because they weren't "warm" enough to him. In fact, he says they are "the enemy camp."

Senoir UK Defense Official: US “dithering” on Afghanistan

November 25, 2009

During President Obama's first year in office he has consistently embraced our most hardened ideological adversaries while, at the same time, giving our closest and most important allies the cold shoulder. Pressuring Israel to give endless concessions to its neighbors, abandoning our eastern European allies to the Russians, and even snubbing Prime Minister Brown in a series of blunders during a state visit to the US earlier this year.
